Infection Control

Infection control and universal precautions protect clients and staff alike. Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control — you, your dentist, and the dental team. The cornerstone in a good and safe dental practice is the element of trust.

At our office, we implement strict measurements when it comes to infection control. All reusable tools are heat sterilized using the recommended sterilization techniques by official and public health organizations. Our sterilizers are monitored weekly for efficiency and accuracy by OSHA monitoring system. We keep the monitoring records for many years as recommended.

None sterilizable surfaces are disinfected regularly using environmentally friendly disinfectants. In many cases, we use single use disposable instruments and tools to avoid cross contamination and protect our team members and our patients.

Personal protection equipments (PPE) are provided to our team and are always used in our dental  practice. We follow the infection control regulations recommended and required by OSHA, CDC, ADA and CDA. Only distilled water or sterile Saline water used during dental procedures. Water lines are flushed before and after each patient treated in our office.
