Oral Medicine is the dental specialty that deals with diseases and lesions in and and around the mouth. Such diseases could be primary conditions originates in the oral and peri-oral region, or secondary to systemic conditions.

Dr. Mohammad Khalifeh got his Master of Science degree in Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain from The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC). He is an assistant professor of clinical dentistry at the Department of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain of the USC. In addition to teaching residents pursuing specialty in Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain, he is also involved with clinical search in various topics related to oral diseases and Orofacial Pain.
